From Mark Robison............
Bill Fox, who went through the Indiana Dunes Great Banquet, is part of our Manasota Community when here for the winter months and has attended our send off's and candlelight services. Bill has had major health issues since February and is now at Manor Care on Swift Road in Sarasota. At this time it is unlikely that he will be well enough to travel back to South Bend. His daughter-in-law Lynn, also from the Indiana Dunes Great Banquet #12, has made this request and I told her that this will be passed on. She is asking for prayers of healing and encouragement for both Bill and his wife Barbara.Posted 03/31/2008
From Diane Czapla......... Please remember in your prayers Lisa Cortazar’s son Rick. Rick has recently been diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS). He is extremely sick at this time and going through a battery of test before the doctors’ start a serious of injections to help this disease. Lisa attended the IDGB #52 and volunteered as a Table Leader #54. The Cortazar family needs to be held up in prayer by the community. Let us be in agreement to pray for God’s speed and comfort as the All Mighty Healer and Miracle Worker!
God Bless.

IDGB #52Update from Lisa Cortazar........
I would like to thank all of you for your prayers for my son. He has been having a series of tests to determine a diagnosis. Since lyme disease mimics multiple sclerosis symptoms, there are now tests being done to determine whether he has lyme disease. We are praying for him, and our family thanks all of you for keeping him in your prayers. There's power in prayer!!
God Bless,
Lisa CortazarPosted 03/12/2008 Updated 03/14/2008
From Mark RobisonI got a call last night informing me that Mary Jo Tarrant had been placed in hospice yesterday and I wanted to make sure to share this with the community, and to the many many people who have had the pleasure to work with Mary Jo on teams over the past years. Please join me in praying for peace and serenity for Mary Jo in this time. I would also ask to keep her son Dave and his family in our prayers as they go through this difficult time.

Please keep Jeff Coe (IDGB #15) in your prayers as he was admitted into St.Anthony Medical Center in Crown Point this past weekend. He went to the ER on Saturday afternoon, (Jan. 26th) because he was having difficulty with his speech. He has since endured many grueling tests, and they have not found anything yet. It seems that he has had several TIAs (mini strokes) - with the biggest one happening on Saturday the 26th and that lasted a few hours. In the past few days, there have been several shorter episodes. Debbie stated that while they have great faith in God's ability to heal, they are nevertheless very shaken by this and would covet our prayers.
Please keep Debbie and the kids in your prayers as well.

Posted 11/29/2007Please hold in your prayers, our IDGB 53 Friend, Lee Niven. Lee was
hospitalized last Saturday with stroke-like symptoms, and may also be
experiencing some problems of a cardiac nature. All is not known at this
point. He and his wife Abby attended the last men's and women's Great Banquets (#53 and 54), from Green Bay, WI. Great young guy with three kids, and he's one we want to keep around for a long time.Letters, cards, flowers, etc. of encouragement are probably best since his email is work-based, and I'm not sure if his wife Abby has access. Here's his address for those who are interested:

I just wanted to let you all know that a new member of our IDGB community, Maggie Borger(#54) is from Nappanee, IN. The day of the terrible storm, Maggie was heading home from Muncie to be with her family during Ball State's Fall break. She had two roads to choose from to get there. The one she chose led her home safely. The tornado hit the alternate road...at the exact moment that she would have been on it! She and her family luckily were spared and are safe.
Please keep the town of Nappanee in our prayers.
My daughter, Liz's boyfriend is from Goshen, IN and went to help with the cleanup. He said he was told it looked a lot like the aftermath of Katrina! Just a smaller area. And right in our own backyard!
Blessings, Sue Bird

Brothers and Sisters, Many of you know that our daughter, Maggie, has suffered from chronic daily headaches for five years. She is now in St. Joseph Hospital in Chicago, where the doctors are overseeing the process of removing all pain medicines from her system, and trying to replace them medications that will block the headaches rather than masking the pain. She'll also learn about other ways to handle her pain, once she's able to concentrate.
We're into day three, with a long road ahead of us. We expect her to be here at least through October 1, and maybe longer.
She is a very courageous young woman, and that is due in large part to the faithful who have been praying and standing in the gap for her. Would you please continue to lift her up, asking God to guide the decisions of the doctors and to enable her to have a more normal life.
Thank you so much. Blessings to you all.
